. Have around 4-5 years industry experience and at least 3-4 years relevant experience.
. 2+ years of experience in handling Oracle 10g RAC production environments.
. Installing and Creating 10g databases.
. Installing and Managing Oracle 10g and RAC databases
. Technical expertise in Oracle DB implementations, maintenance, trouble shooting and administration.
. Working knowledge in oracle GRID control.
. Configuring and Administering Oracle 10g Automatic Storage Management(ASM)
. Implementation and Administration of Oracle Data guard
. Experience in Database Migration/upgrade from Oracle 10g to 11g and troubleshooting post upgrade issues.
. Experience in oracle snapshots and replication.
. Refreshing development databases from PROD using RMAN.
. Configuring and Scheduling RMAN Backups
. Managing Database Performance using (Statspack, TKPROF, AWR, ADDM)
. Applying Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPU Patches) and one-off patches
. BCV backup and Planning for Production Storage.
. Trouble shooting and resolving database issues.
. Database Backup & recovery hands on experience.
. In depth Database Performance Tuning Hands on experience.
. Good Shell scripting knowledge.
. Hands on experience on OS (HP/AIX/Linux/Sun OS/Windows etc) and OS issues monitoring and troubleshooting.
. Conforming to client compliances and SLAs.
. Good communication and soft skills
