Japan Graduates’ Association of Malaysia (JAGAM)

Japan Graduates’ Association of Malaysia (JAGAM) is pleased to announce that Nagoya University-JAGAM Scholarship is now opened for application until 7th January 2011.

Recipients of this scholarship will enroll for science, engineering or social science courses in October 2011 at Nagoya University under the Global 30 Undergraduate International Programs. These are new international programs where all the lectures are taught in English.

Students who are now sitting for 2010 UEC or STPM examinations are encouraged to apply.

* Automotive Engineering
* Biological Science
* Chemistry
* Fundamental & Applied Physics
* Social Sciences


ELIGIBILITY

1) Malaysians who completed over 12 years of schooling

2) Completion of one of the following entrance qualification examinations: a) Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) b) Senior Unified Examination (SUEC) c) A country/region specific university entrance qualification examination or d) The Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) administered by Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) is required

3) English Language Requirement
a) Satisfies one of the requirements below taken within 2 years of enrollment:
(i) TOEFL – minimum score of 80 iBT; 213 CBT; 550 PBT
b) Malaysian University English Test (MUET) – minimum Band 4 (minimum aggregate score: 180-219)
c) Achieve a GCEOL grade of C or better in SPM English Language 1119
d) Achieve Grade C or better in SUEC English Language
e) Other evidence of English proficiency may be considered on an individual basis

4) Only one application is permitted in any given year.


HOW TO APPLY

Completed forms and required documents must reach JAGAM, either by hand or by post before closing date.
